The positive impact on the environment that Clean Compassion has had is HUGE! In September we calculated how many liters of kerosene or candles have been saved by the families that have purchased the solar lights. Over 16,500 liters of kerosene and / or 348,000 candles have not needed to be purchased and burned. The numbers were calculated based upon a conservative amount an average family normally uses per night over the time all families have own the solar light. With the purchase of a solar light they no longer have to burn a lantern or candles at night. Thank you for helping save the environment!
